Culture and Art Are Central To Our Community

The Brookhaven Trust, founded in 1991 and supported by community members, is a force behind the endurance of Brookhaven's cultural heritage.

The Brookhaven Arts Council was founded in 1997 by the Brookhaven Trust and provides Brookhaven community members, free of charge, with an array of theatrical, musical and artistic performances each year.

The Brookhaven Little Theater presents three theatrical events each season and is the second oldest Little Theater Company in the state of Mississippi.

The Copiah-Lincoln Community Arts Series hosted by Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, a small community 8 miles north of Brookhaven, is a privately endowed community organization that is able, though community and corporate contribution, to provide Brookhaven and surrounding communities with an outstanding selection of cultural and musical productions, many of which are presented by nationally known and revered artists.
