The formation of the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Economic Development Alliance is a joint effort by the county, the City of Brookhaven, and local industry to promote economic development in Lincoln County and southwestern Mississippi. Due to the efforts of this alliance and city officials, a new 400-acre business park is in development on the north edge of Brookhaven.
This development is in direct response to various Industry interests in the area. By laying the infrastructure, city and county officials are confident that new companies will choose to join existing businesses and build and develop in Brookhaven.
City planners and officials have worked very hard to stay on the cutting edge of technology and communications as industrial growth in our region has escalated over the past several years.
Their efforts have produced a strong communications infrastructure that exists to meet your communications and technological needs. In addition, our mild climate and moderately priced real estate provide a fertile ground for upcoming technology-based industry.
We are headed to the Future with you.
Our proximity to Copiah-Lincoln Community College and Southwest Mississippi Community College provides us a skilled technical labor force. The Web Development and Local Area Networking Technology departments at both schools continuously provide a talented pool of technical resource.
